Relax. The purpose of the SEC is to protect the Alabama schols from officiating to scheduling. Not much can be done to help Auburn right now, but that will change. They will find a way to make sure both of those schools get the favorable treatment. It's the way it has been for years.

This only scratches the surface of the corruption that runs rampant in Bham.

just being a bama alumni doesnt constitute a crime (although it should )

there has to be an specific action that shows bias. Moving Ga from Bamas sched to LSUs sched and replacing it on Bamas sched with kentucky could be such an action.

Id like to see the justification for that move.

It is BS but it's not like UGA won't be rotated out of out schedule then into Bama's eventually.

if the regular rotation had continued, then bama would have played uga this year and next year.

These "placeholder" schedules created each year are there until we:

1. Go to 16 teams
or
2. Agree to remove the permemnent cross-division opponent
or
3. Agree to a 9 game SEC Schedule

Amazing. Of course Silve had nothing to do with it - except of course that he appointment a guy he knew to be completely biased to handle the schedule.

Such a fraud.

Until the SEC office is moved out of the state of Alabama and all employees replaced with additional "conflict of interest" rules in place, nothing will change.

Just know that when LSU wins the SEC, its a much bigger accomplishment than when Alabama wins it.

This lazy argument would normally be right, but this is a bridge schedule which apparently is not based on past schedules and has no bearing on future schedules per the SEC office itself. So, actually you're completely wrong. Future schedules can vary wildly and Georgia will end up on Bama's schedule when they end up there.

Bama got to play Mizzou instead. LSU got to play USC. USC was not due on our schedule.

Seriously, this 2013 schedule discrepancy is so blatant. With all the made-up drama the sportswriters dredge up, wouldn't they rather have a story like this with some real questions to it? The administration can probably only go so far, but the media....? Any of those guys tried yet?

The worst part about this is that it's not even remotely surpising.

I know Clay Travis take crap from some fans, but his site, outkickthecoverage.com would eat this shite up.

The more people that can bring this out into public eye the better.

How about a 25 minute piece by one of the guys on Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel doing an in-depth look into the shenanigans at the SEC offices? Maybe a piece by Bernie Goldberg connecting some dots...

I have said for years the SEC office should be in Nashville.
