He passed Aikman's 165 tonight and now has 167. Well that's surprising to me. "Franchise legend" Tony Romo.

he is the best QB hands down they ever had. just not surrounded by the players Aikman and Staubach had and nowhere near the HC quality

I always get bashed for sticking up for him, and I hate the Cowboys.

huh? Smith didn't throw touchdown passes.

And Romo catches a lot of shite mostly because the Cowboys have become post-seasonally irrelevant but he's hardly the problem.

Staubach played in a different era and Aikman was on a run-first, play great defense team. He was never going to throw 30 TD's a season. I do think Romo is a very good QB, don't get me wrong. But I do not think the Cowboys career TD record proves anything.

I will never understand those people. They obviously have never watched him play.

Romo is the focus of that offense.

Emmitt had 174 touchdowns, that is a frickton of touchdowns. Probably took a couple away from Aikman. Also they didn't need to throw it as much.

Aaron Brooks was the Saints TD record holder till Drew Brees smashed it. Didn't make Aaron Brooks a legend.

Romo has had some great moments, too. Playing with two broken ribs and a punctured lung come to mind.
