bama is not this great dominate team you people seem to think they are.

no, they are just coached with discipline to do all of the "little things" that can give a team an edge when it counts...plus they have the best recruiting classes every year...

dude. there is NO agenda here. its just a simple discussion about where we are as a program and what we can expect in the next 7 years under Miles. That's it. There will be varying degrees of opinions... If you don't want to discuss it, gtfu and go into a different thread!!!

Wouldn't you rather see LSU win 3 of the last 4 National Titles???
Of course we would, but wouldn't you consider this a ridiculous barometer of success? Do you honestly feel this is what the measuring stick of success should be? If so, then only one team since 1950 has been successful. Nebraska did this in the early 90's, but there has been no one else in the last 60+ years to accomplish this feat

Is this a serious post?

So, since Landon Collins and Eddy Lacy decided to play for Alabama, Miles is just getting the scraps left in the state?

Rivals disagrees with you...............

LSU has the second most wins (boise has 91) in college football. I would call that elite..Playing for two national titles and three sec titles.

Exactly...who has been more competitive in that time period on a consistent basis??

Does Miles get points for when Louisiana players have big games for Bama?

Miles has done better than Saban did here. Saban lost 3+ games in 4 of his 5 seasons at LSU. Where was this perfection you speak of?

yep. my big problem with it is that in state recruits look at what players like Landon Collins did by leaving the state and want the same success he will enjoy... the future looks like more of the same with Saban taking who he wants from LA and Miles taking who is left over...

Dont agree with you on the recruiting angle. Miles is a closer...not sure how he does it, but stats dont lie. Miles will play second fiddle to Saban on the field though

I love people disagreeing with me. It's good banter.

But when people come out and just completely ridiculous and/or troll like this moron, that's when I have a problem and try to understand the thought process behind what's being said.

Usually, the thought process is just "I'm an unrealistic idiot that's incapable of prospective."
