I strongly believe that I am in the minority on this one. Went to Dallas last season, going next season and have not been to Jacksonville in a long time. Would prefer to play a team from the northern conference as compared to the southwest conference (I forget their damn names --- Big 10 and Big 12?).

Might feel differently if we got to play Ok State in Dallas

Cotton Bowl is a "pseudo-BCS" game with the new date/time/stadium.

Cotton gets a lot of exposure, and LSU fans bring the most people to Cotton.

You would rather go to jacksonville on new years day and see us play a shitty B10 team than go to Dallas on the 4th in an awesome stadium play a good B12 team?

You're right you are in the minority because you are the only one in it

I agree with your points and certainly understand the benefit of going to the Cotton Bowl.

And Texas is considered a "good" team?

Texas-LSU, despite texas's struggles, is still a sexy matchup IMO

We could beat A&m, Texas, and TCU - all games played in the state of Texas - in a span of 12 months... Gotta be good for Texas recruiting

I understand what you're saying. It gets boring when you travel to the same city and stadium multiple times in only a few years.

I wouldn't mind the Gator or Outback over the Cotton, just for something different.

Cotton will be the only one I am traveling to. I am college age and going all the way east is expensive and I would have to get a hotel whereas in Dallas I could stay at about 10 different college buddies places.

Plus who wants to be traveling on New Years

good reasoning for selecting the Cotton over the Gator, cannot fault your reasoning at all.

Out of the realm of possibility I know - but would love to play Stanford.

Something new, somewhere new - not Dallas, Atlanta

No, not sarcasm at all. Makes perfect sense when you think about it.
