I don't think it states that Link is killed, just that he was incapable of stopping Ganon. That may imply death, but it doesn't necessarily mean that is the case.
It actually does, or at least it says he's "defeated." It says it in the HH and the video in the OP says it too. His defeat results in Ganon getting all three pieces of the Triforce, but then Zelda & the sages seal him the dark world, cue LttP.
If he wasn't killed/defeated I don't think Ganon would have had any way to get the triforce of courage.
Kill is just a crude word for Nintendo games.

As much as I loved OoT, MM, TP, and WW, LttP is still my all time favorite followed closely by Link's Awakening. I can still distinctly remember getting really sad when the island in Link's Awakening faded away.

It was just a dream!

Probably the dumbest thing I've ever done on here.

Actually they drop a hint at the end of the game that it wasn't just a dream.
Who knows though. Still, greatest gameboy game ever.

I have a desire to do nothing but play Zelda now. I don't care which one.

Like I said earlier, it was a thread like this on here that put me on a Zelda kick last christmas and I'm about to go on one now.
Also, saw some people talking about getting Windwaker. Wii U will have downloadable GC games and WW will for sure show up.

I hope to hell it does.

I loved the style of WW, and I would love to finally finish it. Still have my GC copy, so I might have to put some time on that during the holiday break.

The end of WW is one of my favorites

There was something cool and daunting about sailing from point to point on that boat. I kept thinking "this is just a cool setting.............I'll never finish all of it". Probably one of the reasons I stop playing the first time.

Windwaker was the first Zelda game I had ever played from start to finish and is my favorite.
I don't understand the knock it gets for the cell shaded graphics, nor the sailing.
Sailing can get boring towards the end of the game if you decide to search for every treasure and stuff, but other than that its not bad.
What I liked most about Wind Waker was it had atmosphere.
And the best Zelda OST

I agree. When I first saw Wind Waker and it's graphics I was upset. I bought the game and after a while I really started to like them. It's my second favorite Zelda game behind OoT but it's a really close second.

Wind Waker is my favorite Zelda game, I loved how open it was and you could sail anywhere, also loved the cell shaded graphics. Man I can't wait until the next Legend Of Zelda comes out, I will buy a Wii U just for that game.
