I think he's done a great job, and if SP were to not return, I would like to have him as HC for next year.

If Vitt was head coaching material he would have already been a head coach at some point in his career. So it's not me that doesn't think he's head coaching material. He's been coaching since '79 and never as a head coach except on an interim basis for the Rams and now the Saints.
I like Vitt and I'm glad he's part of the Saints coaching staff, but the FACT that the Saints can't score in the 4th quarter and Bress is regressing under his leadership speaks volumes to the thinking fan...like me.

Really Breesus? Are you naturally a dip shite or you're just being a dick?
Do you really not understand the point of the post? Vitt has been in coaching since 1979, and has been a HC twice; Interim HC for the Rams were he finished at 4-7 and now with the Saints.
You don't coach in the NFL for over 30 years and not land a non-interim head coaching job unless either somehow, someway you've slipped through the cracks, or you're just not head coaching material.
