I didn't see his transportation preference specified. I've only eaten there 3 times and it was good after a long night of drinking each time.
I'm sure there are better places but I like this place.

Cafe Borgne in the Hyatt has their Shrimp & Grits $10 lunch special on Sundays.

Red Gravy on Camp Street near Canal. Open Sunday 9-2.

Lucy's does a little brunch menu on the weekends. It is not expensive.

Second the vote for Ruby Slipper if you/re looking for something close to the hotel. If you're up for a little walk, go to Stanley's across from the Cathedral in Jackson Square.

If you want something super close, the Renaissance across the street from Lucy's has a pretty damn good buffet.

Take the street car uptown and then go to Cafe Atchafalaya for Jazz Brunch. Also have a nice bloody mary bar.
You wont regret it!
