I think I would trade three more national titles for one Saints superbowl, but not two.

National title last year and national title this year would have to be two of the three.

The Saints winning the Super Bowl is the single greatest moment I've ever had as a fan... There will never be another feeling like that outside of maybe seeing my child do something to that affect... So I'll take Breesus all day.

Brees in Miami and it isn't even close. I just posted on the Saints Board that we should hire Saban if we can't resign Peyton.

GTFO Saban.

To the original question- nope. Of course, I also like the Saints, and them winning the Super Bowl was priceless beyond imagining. In comparison, the 03 title was close, and the 07 was a bit less, because it wasn't such a rarity then.

Besides, Saban with Brees still isn't a guarantee for Saban to stay in Miami. Brees has stated he didn't care for Saban's demeanor, and he's not alone. Saban wouldn't run a wide-open offense like Payton does, so Brees wouldn't have been the All-World player he is in New Orleans; and he's likely have split at the end of his contract to get out. Saban would have alienated some other players too, and he would now be back at college somewhere, anyway.

In truth, I don't really care about Saban and Alabama at all. More titles for LSU? When, last season? That was the only time it would have been in play. Who knows if we don't face a Saban-led Michigan team in the BCS then, and maybe the same results happen? Or Saban at USC; or Tennessee....

screw him. Go Saints;

For real though, I wouldn't trade '09 Saints for anything. Sorry.

Yes. Idc about the saints winning the Super Bowl. Heck, manning would probably have two rings now. Saban would probably be back in college now and probably at Texas. We would have another national title and be working on our 4th.
