I view it completely opposite of you. The democratic party has a long history of racism and promoting slavery and the KKK. Yet they are fooling many with their Alinsky BS.
I view it as making history period. The pubs would be plain idiotic fools not to run someone to make history as the first woman or hispanic. Hillary or the black guy someone mentioned will get the nomination. Putting up penguin Gingrich or Santorum against them will simply hand democrats power for decades.
I am sick of the guy who thinks it is his turn running. I am sick of Rove.

Hillary will be too old in 2016. She will be 69. Bill is the only one who like that number...
expect to see new up, and coming candidates on both sides... old will not be elected...

The right question should be who could beat Andrew Cuomo in 2016 and the answer is nobody.
No matter how much you don't like it, the demographics of the country have been changing for several decades and the GOP no longer appeals to a lot of non-whites.
The GOP may never win another national election again.
