I think we can all agree that Ohio State is a top 10 job in CFB. Under similar circumstances just a year ago they did the same thing Arkansas just did.

No they didn't. They hire an interim coach that took them to a bowl game. Then hired a 2 time NC winning coach that took them to an undefeated season.
Your AD hired John L Smith.
That's not the same thing.
