(I do have some knowledge on this subject as this is what my college thesis was on)
This is what I think about this. I would say that up to 85% of men and women are whorish. That is to say that no matter what the relationship status, married, kids, whatever, that given the right circumstances that for a male, if a Kate Upton or Irina Shayk or whatever floats your boat is throwing it at you...you are going to cave. For a woman, if it's a Brad Pitt or a Ryan Gosling or whatever you are in to, if he is letting you know that it's a done deal, you would come running. Chalk this up to your DNA and genetic makeup driving you to mate with most "attractive" or "dominant" opposite sex...whatever...you don't get to choose who and what you are attracted to and we have the excuse that this isn't our fault but that we have this in our genes.
I would say 75% would settle for a whole hell of a lot less than the Brad Pitts and Irina Shayk's.
I would estimate that 60% of the population fall in to what I call the opportunistic category, and that is to say that if an opportunity presents itself, they are going to take advantage.
The top 15% of the population that aren't whorish...they are the people that realize that there is way more to a person and a relationship than a great body, perfect tits, nice cheek bones, six pack abs, etc etc...they know that after the sweat has dried and the fun romp is over that they are back to reality and back to their life and the shame and guilt they would have to live with if they had made such a decision and it wouldn't be worth it. The juice isn't always worth the squeeze.
The sad reality of this is that out of that 15%, how many of those people do you think end up together? Chances seem slim.

A wise old man explained it to me this way when I was in my early teens. He said that all women fall into one of two categories...whores and bitches. The only difference is that whores frick everybody and bitches frick everybody but you

Thanks.  My thesis was actually on the topic of predisposing factors of sexual behavior and promiscuity, but you get the idea. I would be more than happy to discuss and love the topic, but don't know how I could maintain anonymity if I were to post it or were to send it to someone without rearranging every sentence.
You should change the title to "all people are whores" true or false? Nice thread though.
