Silva beats GSP with ease due to size difference. The real fight is Bones vs Silva. I'm a huge Silva fan but I think Bones picks him apart and wins in a pretty easy way. I would love to see Silva beat Bones but JJ is bigger, younger, and just as good a striker as Silva.

Silva destroys GSP at 185.....and he will destroy him so bad that there's no point in making this mismatch happen in the first place. GSP edges out Silva on points at 180 and below. The weight loss will take a toll on Silva imo. The lower the weight, the worse Silva will look. This is just like De La Hoya-Pacquiao. De La Hoya would have punished Pacman at 154.....but the weight cut drained DLH into a skeleton and he had nothing in the tank on fight night....and Pacman took it to him.

Pretty much my thoughts except I think at the 177-178 catch weight you have a fight that could go either way and Silva appears willing to do it at the 177-178 catch weight.

Silva walks around at like 220, cutting to 170 would be insane
Im starting to not believe some of these "walk around" weights, because if that was the case, why would he have cut an extra 3 pounds vs Bonnar to come in at 202? I know it was only 3 months after the Sonnen fight but still.

Do you not understand the difference between walking around weight and in fighting shape weight?

His frame could handle an additional 20 lbs up into the 225-230 range.

If you walk around at 220 you are easily going to weigh less than 205 by the time the fight happens.
