Article on Mercury findings Dang. They found ice and organic material laying around in craters on Mercury? Sounds like the aftermath of a wild party. Hope the aliens aren't mean drunks.

They found what they think is organic material. If Asteroids are acting as delivery vehicles of organic life to other planets my mind would be blown. Could explain the origin of life on Earth.

Seems like they'd find a lot of other shite around the Poles: unexploaded German ordinance, rotten perogies, fat chicks, etc.

Nasa has announced that Mercury has cold regions at the poles. Water, as ice, can be sustained there and in fact is. Somewhere between 100 billion and 1 trillion tons of water-ice between the north and south pole.

Does mercury have an atmosphere? If so, what's the pressure usually?

TIL that water boils at 373K and freezes at 273K, and that the temps on Mercury would allow for water and ice at higher longitudes.
