They have still yet to show a single stat that backs up this ban

you don't need a stat to see a guy who is a shaky putter go to a solid putter by using one of them.

for the record, i can't use one to save my life.

Wait til they sign their card, and then BOOM 2 strokes for the anchor. That's my $5 Nassau beyotch.

Ernie was the best example of a guy like the post above describes.

Scott too. But he could be the antithesis of the anchor argument at the same time.

So who knows?

It's not an advantage. Got rid of belly putter after 6 months. Just couldn't get a feel for long distance putts which lead to 3 putts.

it is most certainly advantageous for some users. otherwise, they would not be using it and this wouldn't be an issue.

I'll be waiting for the Scotty Cameron 34" Kombi that the USGA is going to buy me to be sitting on my front porch.

People have used them for 30 years. People win majors, and the usga loses it. If you want to ban something, an eyeball test isn't good enough, especially when Kuchar's method is ok.

It continues to show how bad the usga is. The game is supposed to be fun. People quit everyday because its difficult and expensive.. And they have decided that a took thatthat 5% uses is illegal. They are killing the game more and more everyday

I'll be selling my entire set now. Absolutely stupid rules change. More and more people are quitting golf, and now the USGA is making a change to eliminate more. Real smart move.
