The fattie loving American press acts like she had no choice. I'm pretty sure there are doctors and hospitals all over Europe.

There's more to this story I suppose. Maybe she ballooned after being home and eating mamas' cooking?  More than likely they tried to travel on the cheap and got away with it on the way over because of available seats. But fat arses that travel enough know that they have to comply with certain fat arse rules, i.e buy an extra seat(s), notify the airline of "special" needs, etc. Flights were probably full coming back and she could not be accommodated.

This is what will be argued and they are correct.
Also, it will be argued that she had the option to go to any number of hospitals in Europe for treatment. Her choice not to was detrimental to her health and she is at fault.

If she shouldn't have been flying, they shouldn't have allowed her to board in the US. She clearly doesn't belong on a plane

Probably. But they allowed her to board on the way over. If it was going to be an issue, she should have been denied travel and her money refunded. Otherwise, don't change the rules mid-trip.

But it hurts their defense....which will be that she shouldn't be flying This amounts to changing the rules after they got her across the pond. Now they won't bring her back?
They should never have allowed her a space on a plane in NY before she even left.

Yep. To prove the airlines had any fault for her death, it will have to be proven that she would not have died but for the airlines refusing to let her fly. And they can't do that-because there are hospitals all over Europe.
Stupid headline is stupid.

Then comes the second part about here CHOOSING not to go to any of the available hospitals.
All of her choices led to her death.
I'm not a lawyer. I am arguing from the common sense standpoint. That means that this family will probably get paid, which is a fricking travesty.
