All 5 starters were McDonald's All-Americans and 3 of their bench player were as well. The almost lost to UC Irvine a few games ago. A UCI player missed 2 free throws with 2 seconds left that would have won the game. Howland will be looking for a new job soon.

Howland is one of those hardass coaches that can field great teams if he can get his guys to buy into what he wants them to do. You don't just fluke your way to three straight final fours.
Unfortunately he's just recruited himself a bunch of headcases and lazy fatasses the last several years that won't buy in.

Howland is a stubborn coach who seems to have lost the team 6 games in. He needs to be gone ASAP. What a frickin joke. At least our football team seems to be good again or at least on the upswing.
