If it doesn't start going down give me a call or text. My dad doesn't practice but is a DVM and still knows a thing or two, I might be able to get him to take a look at it.

I wonder I dogs can get pigeon fever. That has been going around with horses this summer. I had two get it. Creates a big abscess normally on the chest. Looked like they got kicked. Once it started draining I just kept it clean with a hose twice a day.

Don't worry

This dog always smells dead. She isn't near about allowed inside the house.

Not necessarily. I drain abcess's on humans for a living. Some have been that hard because they were that full. If you make a small incision with a scalpel or an 18ga needle it should drain if it's an abcess. If not, it may be cancer. I had a dog get cancer on her neck and it swelled to the point it was hindering her breathing. Had to put her down. She was very old and we couldn't afford the surgery. Lance it, see what comes out.

I would lance it. Flush it daily. She'll heal fine.

Just go do it. It'll take 5 minutes if the dog holds still. As long as you dont sever the carotid artery it'll be fine.

It'll work better if you can find someone that trusts you to hold the dog. I say trusts you because nobody wants to get stabbed by and 18ga needle. Trust me.

I've given myself a shot of LA 200 before, and it definitely wasn't on purpose

It shouldn't be too hard to get a hole in it. It's big enough to where the skin is very tight in some places. I just hope I don't get any of that nasty shite on me.

Yea, you're right. Puss in canines is much more different than puss in any other species on the face of the earth. Thank you for pointing that out. All I said was that poking a hole in it wouldn't hurt, it'll either drain or it wont.
