re: Viagra vs Birth Control

There is a difference in mandating someone to take birth control, which would be a violation of religious freedom, and giving it away for free. Do you not see the difference.

In the past we've given Viagra away for free, but there was no outcry from republicans. Yet, there is outrage that we want to give away birth control?

Why is this confusing?

Not to say that Viagra should be covered, just why I have a massive problem with one and not the other.

Yea.

That's why I say the GOP needs to move more conservative. It would ditch the social conservative views which are anti-conservative.

The point has been that old men want to complain about birth control but would not if it was Viagra.
erroneous assumption.

Once again when did the federal government mandate that Viagra be free?

I appreciate that, but I do think I got them confused.. I think it was the other guy who said that. But TN Bhoy has said plenty of things that are just to derail things, I'll know to avoid him.

Actually in that instance it's referred to as hormone therapy and falls into a different reimbursement category (even though it's the same medication).

Just like Viagra is used to treat high altitude pulmonary edema.

It's not an erroneous assumption.

The link I provided was when more than half of Viagra prescriptions were being given out for free, yet where was O'Reilly then?

Wait, I thought it wasn't about whether one was free. Now you're changing your story.

Also, you linked to a lame music video. The federal government is not forcing anyone to pay for anyone else's Viagra. They ARE forcing others to pick up the tab for birth control. The outrage is over forcing religious institutions to pay for something they feel is immoral. Are you really too dumb to see the distinction?

The hypocrites on this issue are you, Ogump, and Sebelius.

Once again, please show me where it was mandated by the government....why do you continue to ignore that important little piece?

Also, your posts beg the question, how is it free?

My god man, how is this hard to figure out.

I showed you when over half of Viagra prescriptions were free (doesn't matter if it was mandated to be free or not, it was free).

And you didn't hear so much as a mumble from O'Reilly and his type. But now that birth control is on the table to be given away for free its a HUGE deal. And we tax payers shouldn't pay for a skank to have sex without consequences. This is just supposed to be something that shows the hypocrisy of traditional republican thinking.

wow, you successfully dodged each question. You are hopeless. Once again, how is it free?

Do you not see the difference between a private company's choice and being forced to do so by the federal government?

who cares about a link. If a private insurance company wants to include Viagra, then so what. He fails to see the point of liberty versus force

And you don't see the hypocrisy when there is no issue with Viagra being covered, but it is the end of the world that birth control is covered?
