I saw Conan in NYC when he was still on NBC. Studio was much smaller than I expected - interesting how it appears so much larger on TV than in person. He had Jim Gaffigan and Ethan Hawke on that episode. Conan seemed very personable and interacted a lot with the audience. He's also freakishly tall and slim FWIW. Overall an enjoyable experience. I would do it again should the opportunity arise.

Late Late show with Craig Ferguson. It was awesome. The show is waaaay funnier live.

Letterman was good. He does a little stand up before they go live.

Saw Letterman couple years ago. Eric Bana and DMB. Was kinda funny and interesting to see how it all works. They make you line up and wait outside for too long, then come back later in the day and line up for even longer again (plus it was raining that day so everyone got soaked and froze), then crowd you into the lobby like sardines and make you stand there for a while, while trying to brainwash you into laughing at everything. Lots of rah-rah bull shite. It was creepy and awkward. Very uncomfortable. They act like you are sooo lucky to be there and get treated this way. The show itself was just OK, but definitely will NOT be doing it again. There are MANY better ways to spend your day in NYC.

I've been to Kimmel and Leno. Third row for Leno and touched his hand when he walked out. Tried to do Letterman but they only accept super fans. You have to know tidbits from the show and if you get the answer wrong, they give it to someone else.

BTW, when I saw Leno the guests were Jack Black and Michael Buble. The guests for Kimmel were Mark Wahlberg and a chick from the Tron movie.

I want to go to a taping of Craig Ferguson's show. He's by far the best late night host.

I saw Carson around 81 or so. Burt Reynolds and Dolly Parton were guests and it was classic.

This, but I saw a guy get hit by a car when we were waiting.

This is why it kind of ruined all these shows for me.
