My friend, I think the cartoon is hilarious. Does not matter who it came from. Too funny how we so quickly forget history.

Yep, that guy isn't biased. Strong, factual reporting there
basically you just invalidated the views of 99.9% of the posters on this board.

Ah cool.

Yes, if you can put aside his liberal wackiness, Tom Tomorrow is one of the wittier political cartoonists out there.

The best thing the GOP can do right now is put as much distance between the left as possible so that when everything comes crashing down, which it will, people will not associate the right with the left.

It's that kind of loser mentality that everyone is talking about with the GOP. You are betting on your own country losing and looking forward to reaping the benefits of potentially regaining control. When did that become more important then just general prosperity across the board?

The best thing the GOP can do is learn to work with the left and compromise and come up with the best possible solutions for the greater good and our country as a whole. Kind of like what our fore fathers had in mind, amirite?

The next best thing the GOP can do is distance themselves from people who think like Mike da Tigah. You're priorities are completely skewed and you've lost all perspective on what matters. I'll admit this article is a little silly in its writing and perhaps a little overboard but he's talking about guys like MDT and MDT can't even recognize it, which is the sad part.

Lets face it: the GOP is dying, both literally and figuratively. If something doesn't change soon it'll be the end of the GOP as we know it.

-you're base is the older audience, more die every four years, plain and simple.
-you're hostile towards women's rights.
-you're hostile on the social issues.
-you're hostile on immigration (largest growing demographic btw)
-you're consistently losing young voters (under 30) so it's not likely to get better.

Wake the F*** up, time to make some progress and work together. Or as a party die a slow miserable death. Both scenarios work for me, I'm hopeful for the former.
