He's from Bastrop,La as I am. His parents shopped in my stores, I knew them. We talked the morning he committed to LSU and he really liked Oklahoma at the time. He's not from Shreveport or Monroe, from Bastrop, same as Josh Downs.

Shreveport Resident. We don't say Geaux that is south Louisiana type lingo. But we will write it just to go along and pretend we have a strong french heritage.

Exactly. We just fake being coonass. Secretly we laugh behind your back because everyone up here knows we're not really part of Louisiana. We just tolerate being called Louisianians.
