Not Texas beer, but in Dallas stock up on Ballast Point
And Firestone Walker is supposed to be getting to Dallas but not sure if its there yet
Look for Rahr & Sons Winter Warmer, bourbon barrel variety if you can find it
Independence Bootlegger Brown is the best brown ale made

Although the thread title is "Texas beer", he is obviously looking for good beers available in TX, not just brewed in TX. Yes, Ballast Point makes great beers. Sculpin, Big Eye, Dorado are really good.

This years Rahr winter warmer bourbon barrel aged is not very good at all. I'm most upset.

It is a lot of responsibility, but it is very satisfying.
