I am constantly picking up nails in my tires, so I have mastered the art of plugging them myself. I want to get a small air compressor to fill up car / truck tires when I have to along with my trailer, 4 wheeler, bicycle tires, etc. What am I looking at here?

Porter Cable pancake style compressor from Lowes. Run about $150. Bought one for the same reason. Truck, trailer, and lawn mower tires. Fast and no problems with it.

Harbor freight has one that has a 5 gal tank that goes on sale for under $90, plus get a 20% coupon to get and extra $18 off it. Bought mine around 4 years ago and never had a problem with it.

I have a pancake compressor. It does everything that I need it to do which is run air tool (not much on those though) nail guns, air tires, etc.

+1 on the HF.You kind find a few good tools for little money.I bought a portable bandsaw for 49.00 after coupons. Its not a Milwaukee but it cuts the metal with no issue.

Had one that expired at the end of Oct. Sign up on the web site. Some times they send them thru email.

The one at Harbor Freight is legit. I built my whole house with it and it is still kicking five years later, and believe me, I passed some air through that baby.
