Get over urself man, yes obama won, congrats. You appear to genuinely think he will do good things for the country. Why, I don't know but those are your views. The Tea Party, social conservatives, and some inds although bullied by msm were not full of right wing nut jobs like you want to think. Those groups are full of patriotic americans who also fought and died for freedom and democracy. Their concerns are real and genuine too and they are truly and deeply concerned that we are moving away from the constitution and its fundamental principles.

This stuff is hilarious.
Not really, its serious. I am not going to sit here and say anything will absolutely come of this. The fact that numerous states do not want to be a part of this country anymore should alarm you. The election showed just how divided we are, and not by the electoral college, but by actual votes. Your shepherd is one of the most divisive people we have ever had hold the office. There is no denying that, so these things should come as no surprise. Wake the frick up and stop trying to marginalize these current events. People are outraged and half the country sides with them, deal with it or GTFO!

Um it's been like this since 2000. Want to pull up some numbers then get back at us. Don't just blame OBAMA. We know you hate Muslims and blacks.

Wait, what? So they love democracy but are not prepared to deal with results of the democracy? That actually sounds very sore loserish. And on top of that, its quite unpatriotic.

You see, its not really serious though. Its just crying in your beer.

Its not numerous states, its a few hundred thousand. And I bet in 2004, you would have gotten just as many votes to leave the country from the blue states.

Very, very stupid statement. I bet Obama had more votes in Louisiana than the stupid secession petition has signatures. I'm talking a higher order of magnitude, not just a few more votes.

I don't spend enough time in this cesspool to know if you are a troll or a moron, but that post qualifies for both.

Not just votes though, alot of people just don't like the direction we are going, you can see it on tv, hear it on the radio, listen to it at work, it is literally all over the place. You can ignore it if you like but the fact of the matter is there wasn't near this outrage when clinton got elected. (most recent dem)

I should have added people in there. But its not a broad based movement, and it just makes you look like a lunatic.

Turn off Faux News and Rush Limbaugh and you will hear far less of it.

I will spell it out for you since you can't seem to tell btw my sarcasm and my serious posts. You really are saying that right after 9/11 this country was not for the most part unified. I saw more american flags and coming together than I had for a long time. If that is the case I would respectfully disagree.

I never said or even implied that. However, that has nothing to do with the proverbial "price of tea in China." What are you advocating? Do thousands of Americans need to die for people to realize how stupid this secession talk is?

I said that obama was one of if not the most divisive president and that the country is divided. You implied/said no more than the year 2000. I responded that after 9/11 we were for the vast majority unified. BTW, in other threads I have pointed out several times I do not expect this (secession)to go anywhere so your lives are saved.

One of the biggest hurdles to secession is race. As soon as any state becomes serious about secession, every opponent will start bringing up slavery and try to insinuate that the people who want to secede are racist and want to bring back slavery or segregation. No amount of reason will be able to fight the almighty race card. Won't happen. Never will. No way. No how.
I dont think a movement driven by individual liberty will have to worry about slavery arguments. If anything producers in this country are slaves to moochers. They can vote themselves your money at the point of a gun.
