Who has the best sushi in NOLA? I dig Hana and Hoshun. Where do you go and what do you get?

Mikimoto is my favorite, but only because I am a regular. In terms of quality I would say yes.

I've been on a Kanno kick lately and would have to say its my current favorite. I'm also a fan of the two places on Oak St. I recently tried Sushi Brothers and thought it was pretty damn good but it was after several hours of being at the pub.

In Baton Rouge, the best sushi I've ever had was sold to me out of a truck

What's the boards opinion of Kyoto on Prytania? I eat it for lunch frequently and enjoy the hell out of it, but I'll be the first to admit I don't know what good sushi is. .

Used to go there all the time. Pretty good stuff. I like Sake although it's overly expensive

BTW, the absolute best sushi in New Orleans bar none was in the same spot as Coquette is now, right next to Sake. I can't remember the name of the place somehow, but it blew anything else I've had in NO out of the water the few times I went. So pissed it closed

I'm bookmarking this thread next time the g/f wants sushi in Nola. I'll be sure to try out Mikimoto.

What are your thoughts on Sushi Brothers?
