When I first saw this on the news a week or so ago, I thought it was very,very odd! So sad for their loss.

It's now a homicide investigation. The empty house next to the one where the 2 people were killed was in forclosure and the divorced couple that was living there was in serious debt. There was a vehicle parked in the driveway up until the afternoon right before the explosion even though nobody was supposedly home, etc...

Any official statements? Are they going to tell us what happened or just ignore it until the next 24 hour news cycle starts?
Not to highjack this thread but this reminds of United Flight 93 when there wasn't any wreckage and then a few days later they said there was a "secondary wreckage site" a mile away...that was a completely unintentional pun btw....

warrants have been issued and people are being questioned as authorities are now treating this as a criminal homicide ...

Dang. Just saw my cousins yesterday, who live in Indy, that told me that it was probably homicide but I didn't know about the razing of 30 houses. Crazy stuff.

Doesn't surprise me. They were saying that the concussion caused a bunch of houses to bounce on their foundations.
