In Biyombo's defense..he is not as horrible as you might believe. His offense is horrid and is above average defensively all while playing on a horrible team last year and being 19.

To show why people are excited about this guy, though maybe a little too excited, is because of his play against Dwight Howard on multiple occasions last year.

Though he is not better than Anderson currently the gap between the two may not be as large as some believe.

I think everyone agreed with this much.

Did you watch the video? Almost none of his highlights were against Howard . He had 2 blocks and scored 2 times on Howard in 9 minutes of youtube footage. The rest was him blocking Reddick, Anderson, Big Baby, Nelson, Richardson and grabbing loose rebounds.

Howard went 15/17/2 one game and 25/17/4/4 the 2nd game.

Biyambo could be a great player. But the gap is pretty large right now. In my opinion, of course.
