In addition to the additional people, it's got to reflect sound back to the NEZ.

Big house and noted dame stadium are louder environments. LSU fans got a taste if the Irish in '06.

I think the Irish got a taste of J-Rock's bunghole in '06.

I was there, and while the $13 Jack and cokes have erased the 2nd half of the game, I can tell you that only one teams fans were making noise that night and it was LSU's.

Wow...have you ever been to an LSU game? Do you know where we consistanly rank amongst all college football venues? We have like 20,000 less ppl and still top them.

You sir are an idiot.

I've been to Notre Dame 3 times and it doesn't come close to Tiger Stadium for noise, color, tailgating. History, tradition... yes, but noise and atmosphere--NEVER!

The people I know who have been to Michigan's stadium have all remarked on how subdued it is.

to me it was like the USC crowd in 84 (?)

tea and crumpets and a lady about fainting with the way LSU fans were carrying on and how USC just got run over

Michigan doesn't go straight up like TS. It's much more of a bowl, so the sounds escapes

and they sit on their hands.....a lot

NOT. EVEN. CLOSE. I've been to ND at its best for an OT comeback classic game and to the Big House when then hosted ND. Neither of these are even in the same ball park in terms of noise. The Big House is a joke for noise. I seat at Tiger stadium directly away from the opposing teams band, and hear them very very well. I sat in the same location at the Big House, and when the Michigan Band played, I could hardly hear them.

Have also been to Autzen and MANY other venues.

AT THEIR BEST, Tiger Stadium and Florida Field are the best, with Penn State "white out" at night and Bama/Auburn at night in the next closest tier.

I've been to all 3 stadiums. Went to every LSU home game from 2005 to 2008. Did the same for Michigan from 2009 to 2011. Now I'm doing it for Notre Dame. I'm primarily an LSU fan, but I'm being objective here, if you haven't been to all 3 like me, then you really should give it shot.
