My credit union did it as a courtesy since it wasn't a normal transaction. I paid for it the first time $50

I'm a Louisiana resident and bought my last vehicle in Houston because it saved thousands of $$. Dealer sent me the paper work and I paid T/T/Lic fees in LA several weeks later. There were no extra fees buying in TX. There was no financing, I just wrote them a check from my bank in LA.
Also, they put a temporary TX Lic Plate on it and I never had a problem.
