Jesus you people are even stupider then I thought. No the first program to give phones to poor people was started in 84 was not for cell phones it was for phones. Just like the program is still for phones. Apparently it is only the not so bright who still think of cell phones as luxury items. A cell phone is just a phone and in some cases providing cell services is cheaper than providing land line service so they give cell phones.
By the way the expansion to cell phones was under Bush.

Well I don't know about your plan but my plan runs me like $90 a month. I think getting that paid for free would be a luxury.
But I'm now thinking Obama should also pay for my internet.

You are doubling down on your aggressive stupidity aren't you? No one is getting a 90 dollar a month plan for free. Some poor people are getting discounts or very basic plans so that they can conduct basic life needs that require a phone.
But if you are so convinced the poor have it so good, why don't you stop working and apply for all the benefits you can find. I am sure you will enjoy your life.

When will you idiots realize this was not an Obama program, Jesus Christ. Did more people qualify Under Obama? Yes. Why? More people met the factors due to the bad economy starting in 2008.
