our location is prime plus the oil we have helps us. where would we get our energy from and keep it low? I dont think the U.S would ever let a state peacefully leave but if it did we would have a chance to survive. We dont have a huge population so food might not be a big issue and id expect some of the population would leave making it even smaller.
I actually dont believe defense would be that big of an issue. I don't think any country would come over and actually try to take us over.

Wouldn't they lose their accreditation making the conferences drop the schools?
This is crazy talk. I'm pretty sure if the states of the CSA pulled out again we would survive this time as long as the north didn't object.
