Hurricane Christie weighs a ton but that's not the reason that he has no chance.

The way he acted after the storm, I think he'd win more states in the North East. The guy is respectful, put the political B.S. aside.

you're wrong about that, that was hugh with independents. Shows he's not just some GOP ideologue who is just going to spout the party line.

Could he pull in the Hostess vote? That would be big!

So Jeaux, if he ran as a Republican, which Northeast states could he feasibly carry, in your opinion?

Christie's done in the GOP. Rubio is the hispanic Romney. The Libertarians need to take control of the GOP.

1) Christie will be a dem within 2 years. 2) His national prospects were blown away with Sandy

BHO is the same person who as a senator, voted against Katrina aid. Yet he is a hero for "Visiting" New Jersey. Difference is the Republicans have morals/character and showed respect and deference to the President. What did bimbeaux's Blanco / Landrieu and national democratic leaders do during Katrina? Selective memory of the dumb people in America allow this shite to continue.

IDK, he's not too fond of unions, and they're not too fond of him. Unions are a big democrat stronghold. Has he eased his stance on them? I honestly don't know. You don't think in 2-3 years from now, all the Christie/Obama hand holding will be an afterthought?

Republicans can't win another presidential election unless they start basically turning into democrats. Republicans have to blurr the lines between the 2 parties. Demographic shifts have made this country totally different. I just can't see another Republican winning again. They will still do well locally in areas with good economies and thriving businesses.

I don't know. Some people are taking pride in their fatness lately. It's kind of trendy to be fat and think it's cool, as long as you take pictures of yourself in a bikini and blast it on the net. Given the obesity rate, he might be relatable.

Obama is anti-drug. No candidate is 100% down with the party platform

It is one of the most vivid images of this campaign season.

Christie like Rudy Guliani would struggle to make it out of that madhouse called the GOP primaries. Unless they can shamelessly switch from extreme positions like Mitt Romney

Christie can't win a single Republican primary when his opponents run advertisements of him hugging Obama. His weight won't matter one iota.
