and in the wealthiest county in Georgia, Forsyth, right next to these, Obama got 19% of the vote
Forsyth like Clay on the opposite side of Atlanta was not included simply because their relatively low vote count made them statistically insignificant since I'm doing my own math. Also, 49k median income across 1.5 million people is pretty goddamn wealthy. I promise that if you add only Forsyth county in Obama will still have more than 55% of the vote, Because Forsyth county would account for somewhere around 8-9% of the vote between the five counties. Feel free to do the math if you'd like, though.

No I was basically agreeing with you. It was directed at the other people on this board.lol. My bad.

He acts like 49k is bad. Do any of these frickers want to post their tax returns so we can see how much they made. At least they are working, earning that 49k, in turn you don't qualify for Govt Assistance which debunks all these Obama voters want handouts. Yeah making 49k and wanting handouts. WOW, come on.

But according to people on Tiger Droppings, Obama voters came out in record numbers to get handouts. Hmmmm. 9,000,000 fewer. That act as if he got 9,000,000 extra minority votes

Conservatives are always more impressed with the town of 20k that has a median income of 150k than the city of 3 million with a median income of 50k. They mistake exclusivity for prosperity.

Do you know what percentage of evangelic Christians went to Obama? Just curious.

80% of White Evangelical Christians went to Romney, so I'd imagine 20 or 19 to Obama. Don't have a number for Evangelical Christians in general, but I imagine Obama's numbers are better.

i never said $49k was bad.. but anyone with a brain knows that the numbers are skewed by the super wealthy living in the Atlanta area and my comparison was to show that the poorer the area, the more they voted for Obama.. exit polls show that as a nationwide trend.. the wealthier people voted more for Romney.. im just saying that the facts back up the 'entitlement' argument.. and trying to deny that, which everyone knows is true, is silly

St. Landry parish! Word. My home parish. I think it was the poorest parish for its size in the entire country a while back. I think we both know why...

Disagree.. Run someone besides Romney and I think this vote drastically changes. He was an old, heavily religious mormon, socially conservative(even if it was only his platform), going to increase the size of the military, reduce the number of pell grants, never defended a low interest rate on student loans, and this list could continue. Why would a young person vote for him? This is not the electorates fault as much as it is the part's fault

I love that the libs that screamed Romney was only for the wealthy are now crying that Obama got all the educated-upper class votes. I can't speak for the North (who strongly emphasize social issues), but in the South, the overwhelming majority of middle-upper to upper class educated citizens are Republican.

I was laying out statistics from Dark blue states that show those trends. In red states the wealthy and educated vote republican. The interesting trend is that the whiter the electorate is, the more liberal the white vote. The blacker the electorate, the more conservative the white vote.

well they shouldn't have voted for romney or obama, but of the 2 majors, romney promised a better economic plan that will lighten the horrible burden my generation is about to endure

He may have promised, but he certainly didn't lay out any specifics.
