Lets see, fried shrimp, mayo, ketchup, GOOD French bread, lettuce(cut on a poboy on the rare occasion it is used) and dill pickle slices on the top. Why would you want to mess with a damned fine tradition of cookery?

That's basic?

Ketchup and horseradish to taste, brotha.

Horse radish on a poboy is a HELL NO. Shrimp cocktail, and other things yes, but although most will say nay, a poboy has a myriad of flavors because of the ingredients in you mouth. Horse radish would overwhelm it all.

Mayo only. Ketchup on a Poboy grosses me out.

I do same thing except there's enough garlic powder in the Cajun seasoning for me. And I do some black pepper. But basically same thing. I like it extra horseradishy

Agree.

See, I LOVE the way poboys are dressed (mayo, let, tomato) and its how I get all sandwiches dressed. Can't stand seeing someone dip a chicken sandwich in ketchup or something. Sick.

I know. I am just not a fan. I only like ketchup on potatoes and burgers. On any other meat product, it isn't my cup of tea. I'll do cocktail with fried seafood but only if its very horseradishy.

I would put ketchup on a fried shrimp Po boy, but if I was eating the fried shrimp by themselves I would dip on ketchup.

Weird.
