The 2 programs are nowhere close to each other.
Im kinda hoping Tech makes it to a bcs bowl, so when they play a bcs type team and give up 70+ on defense, maybe they will simmer down a little.

Well that's stupid. What would Tech's record playing with WAC talent be against SEC caliber schools?
What would LSU's top talent players do against WAC schools?
The schools Tech is beating aren't world beaters but the talent gap isn't that far apart. LSU fan's get their panties in a wad if any other school has a good season.

WTF! I'm not trying to compare LSU's strength of schedule to Tech's or who has the better team......get over yourself! Just making a point that great football in the state doesn't belong solely to LSU anymore, especially w/ ULM, ULL, & Tech. And I think it's fantastic that the LA Times (not Louisiana, but Los Angeles Times) is giving Tech great pub.

Thanks to a pathetic Big 10 (and one Louisville loss away from the Big East too) Tech actually still has a very real shot at a BCS bid.
