One would assume he's pretty much maxed out at Oklahoma State, with a 12-1 season, conference championship, and BCS Bowl victory. I do realize he played there and the connection runs deep, but the odds of him winning a national championship there are slim.

It just seems like he could consistently compete for championships a place with a more national name and bigger recruiting budget like a Texas or Tennessee.

He pretty much has a job there forever if he wants it. They can pay fairly well, and are still improving their athletic facilities. I don't think he will leave oSu.

He'd leave for a bigger SEC school (Auburn, Tennessee, Georgia) or Texas.

Yes. He was close to going to A&M, and if offered he'd would likely go to Arkansas. OSU is not as financially strong as people think, the school has a bad history of misappropriating donations and not delivering on promises to boosters.

If Texas came knocking (and this goes for any coach) he'd have his house packed by the next night.
