I rocked out My Own Prison back in high school. It was a good album in its time and place, but obviously hasn't held up well. I blame Scott Stapp personally for contributing to the whiny arse version of rock lyrics/style that allowed for bands like Staind, Nickleback, etc to reach superstardom.
fwiw, Creed's second album was complete crap. I don't know if they made anything after that. I hope not.

I found one of the cd's the other day and I have to admit I rocked out to it for the first time since 1999. Had the oppurtunity to meet Stapp one time. Was actually a very cool guy.
