Talk Of Mett's Growth

There are a lot of people talking about the lights coming on for Met last night, which he obviously played his heart out. However, I think the biggest contributing factor that nobody is talking about is that the receivers decide to start catching the ball for a change.
Met has had his issues, but dropped balls have been Mets biggest problem all season, leading to a host of issues with our offense.
The TD catch abs the 3rd down catch on the sidelines were both balls that were drops earlier in the season. Hell, even in the first half last night. You could see Met evolve in the game once he stared getting some help from his receivers.

I love the way he stands in the pocket and throws the ball. He's not always accurate but he doesn't shite himslef either.

I was most impressed with the way he stood in the face of pressure and threw the ball with confidence. We haven't seen that from him like we did last night.

Receivers did come up big. But Mett didn't have any of those "who was that for?" throws that he seems to have every game. It will be interesting to see if the passing game can keep up what they did last night.

I also think he was a lot closer to getting there than most people were giving him credit for before the game. He didn't make many if any bad decisions with the ball against aTm, he just wasn't very accurate. It was clear to me that it was starting to slow down for him a little bit two weeks ago, and he always had the physical tools. It was wonderful to see it come together for him last night, and I hope he keeps it up for the rest of his career.

I think he was really prepared for this game and it slowed down for him. He looked calm, composed, and even quicker on his feet. He even checked off receivers and completed a few rolling out. He was throwing darts out there.

a buddy who played college fb was talkin w/ his coach.
the coach said that mett had been playin' hurt for the first 6 games. he was makin' his analysis strictly from game tapes.
he said that it could be seen mett's growth just last nite.
i don't know shite, but wanted to ask if anyone else had seen this or can confirm the sightings?
