Random pro sports question regarding uniforms

Do professional sports provide players with a brand new jersey every game or do some of them wash and reuse?
I'd imagine the NFL players get new ones every game but what about sports like the NBA and MLB where they play a shite ton of games?

I used to work in an MLB clubhouse, and we reused uniforms unless they got damaged. I'd see no reason why the NBA wouldn't reuse them. NFL I'm sure they get new ones more often.

It has to be this. There's no way a MLB team would distribute 162 new uniforms to a player every year. The costs for that would be staggering.

They're not given new ones every game. It depends on the equipment guy.
You definitely don't give them new jerseys every game.
When I helped the Cowboys we packed 2 of everything and let them choose. Baseball I know the Cards had 6 sets of greys, but issue with that is greys have to match and look at some WS pics last year, they were mismatched at times.

NFL probably gets new ones every week. MLB doesn't and I don't know about NBA

Basketball you don't give them many sets probably 2 of each a year. If they go on long trips they'll bring 3 sets one being alternate.
At the 1-AA school we had 2 sets of football and basketball for game (each color) 3 sets of px gear for basketball and football.
ETA:
The thing you go through the most in fb is socks gloves and wristbands.
If you're in a rain game sometimes you go through both jerseys you bring. That is worst conditions ever. Snow games are easy compared to rain games.

Do the NFL and NBA teams even pay for the uniforms?
Posted on 11/3/12 at 11:45 am to LSUsmartass
Technically yes. In reality no. Each team is given x amount of dollars to spend in contract to use and Nike ,Adidas/Athletix, Majestic deduct from that number.
Most of Adidas' game stuff is made by Athletix in Kosciusko, MS
The best two soft equipment makers are Powers out of Iowa and Rippon in Wisconsin.
Nike wanted Powers to make theirs but Powers refused because they didn't want to hurt their reputation in quality.
