I'm 63 and have been watching elections since 1960 (yeah, I was 11). With the possible exception of the LBJ "Daisy" ad in the '64 election, I've never seen a dirtier campaigner and a worse divider in the White House. Never ever. And that includes Nixon. Obama tops them all in sheer hypocrisy, too.

This man may need a teleprompter but he is no Joe Biden. Which is to say he has a plethora of words at his disposal and has used them extravagantly for nearly 4 solid years. If he said this, and in the context of his meaning and speech, Obama meant to rile up a very unlovely emotional response among his thralls. He meant exactly what he said. Revenge is high on his agenda, because he is a strident anti-Colonialist and believes America is the last of the old line Colonial powers. He wants to exact revenge on what he perceives to be the privileged and the powerful (never mind that he himself is a millionaire). "Don't boo, vote..." is merely a smoke screen to try to disguise the other half of his statement, which was, is and always will be intended to divide and stir up class hatred.
He is a poor excuse for a President who claims to be President of all the people.

It is definitely a "gaffe", so I don't see it as a big deal (it doesn't really confirm anything we didn't already know about him).
However the lack of coverage this gaffe will get in the MSM, as opposed to if Mitt would say a similar gaffe is what is annoying about it.
But of course DA will pop in and just say "You are all stupid. Nothing to see here. Everything is fine. Desperation. I'm a hack."

Hmmm . . . I've been around for awhile and I honestly can't remember any president having his words parsed and either exaggerated or misconstrued for political advantage quite as much as this one.
Now, I'll admit that it could be because this will be the first presidential election during which I've spent time on this board.
