I will be in Nashville for just one night in a few weeks. Can the board please recommend a place for my wife and I to eat that evening. Price is not an issue and I do not have a preference in type of cusine. I have never been to Nashville and any suggestions would be much appreciated.

FYI. We will be driving to Hunstville for Thanksgiving with my in-laws who are all huge Bama fans. I really hope the Tigers win this weekend so I don't have to deal with the subtle gloating.

Thanks for any and all suggestions!

for evening dining, consider holland house (east nashville) or the catbird seat (although its too late for reservations there..you gotta make them like 6 months in advance)

holland house is pretty romantic, also check '12th south' area. a couple nice places just opened there as well.

Have heard fantastic things about the Catbird Seat. Any chatter about it?

ted turner(TV Station owner) has a steakhouse called something like "Ted's Montana steak house". it is right next to the Hotel in the parking lot of Vandys staduim. Awesome steak house, not overpriced, i ate a Bison Steak that was killer.
