Don't believe the creep. He thinks Obozo will pick up votes by feeling folks pain. Course it would have been nice to have cared about Americans 6 weeks ago in Benghazi when he could have made a difference.

I doubt he's really worried. He's playing some angle here, like suing to keep polls open in Va. and Pa. for a few extra days. Something like that.

I had this thought as well. Any precedents?

re: Axelrod says Hurricane Sandy could hurt Obama by lowering turnout

quote:

Axelrod says Hurricane Sandy could hurt Obama by lowering turnoutDavid Axelrod, a top advisor to President Obama’s reelection campaign, said Sunday that he is concerned that Hurricane Sandy could reduce turnout and potentially hurt Obama’s campaign. “Obviously, we want unfettered access to the polls, because we believe that the more people come out, the better we’re going to do,” Axelrod said. “And so, to the extent that it makes it harder, that’s a source of concern.” The storm could have a wide-ranging effect on swing states from North Carolina and Virginia to even New Hampshire or Ohio. Axelrod said that the political implications of the storm remain hard to predict and that the president will be focused on helping the victims. LINK

Well...we can just extend the voting for a week or so.

Black folks hate inclement weather. Some stereotypes are just true.

Is there anybody on the lib side who is actually proud of scumbags like this guy being one of their big mouthpieces?

Seriously, he looks more likely to leave a slime trail than Carville.

He couldn't be my spokesman, and I'm nobody. He looks very, very shady. I wouldn't let him sit my dogs.

He's apparently a decent strategist, though.

Come on, I like Carville. He adds energy to a discussion and makes me laugh. At least he, unlike Axelrod, has a sense of humor.

re: Axelrod says Hurricane Sandy could hurt Obama by lowering turnout

Regarding Sandy, this NHC update from 2:00 PM EST:

"BULLETIN
HURRICANE SANDY INTERMEDIATE ADVISORY NUMBER 25A
NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL AL182012
200 PM EDT SUN OCT 28 2012

...SANDY EXPECTED TO BRING LIFE-THREATENING STORM SURGE FLOODING TO
THE MID-ATLANTIC COAST...INCLUDING LONG ISLAND SOUND AND NEW YORK
HARBOR...
...WINDS FORECAST TO BE NEAR HURRICANE FORCE AT LANDFALL.."

I think this is the first time I have seen NWS use the term "life threatening" with regard to this megastorm. (Obviously , we knew lives will likely be lost, but just had not seen it as part of the official warnings.)
