Buffets are gross. Recycled food, people coughing on everything, obese people in scooters.

My personal favorites are Sushi Masa, Teppanyaki, Nagoya, and Thai Pepper. TDB is good, but expensive. Say what you want about buffets, but in Baton Rouge, buffets are my go-to much of the time, simply because the rest of the food scene sucks so bad.

Thai kitchen is my fav. Hunan's on Sherwood also did a pretty good buffet, although I haven't been in years.

Bay Leaf, India's, Texas De Brazil, Thai Kitchen are all very good.
Kaminari is good but it's more good for the price then it is just good food....if that makes sense.

I personally don't care for Kaminari... I think it's a lesser version of Nagoya. Teppanyaki is better than both. And the buffet at Hunan just plain sucks. Off-the-menu items are decent, but not the buffet. And oh yeah -- Thai Pepper buffet >>>>>>>>> Thai Kitchen buffet
