While at the cca banquet in Slidell I purchased the 2 person guided kayak trip from bayou adventures. Anyone kayak fish out that way? I think after this trip I going to invest in a fishing kayak. I live in Eden isles and would love to fish that area in a kayak. Does anyone kayak with in that area?

I've heard of people wade fishing in the spring/fall so I plan to try and kayak fish it probably in the spring.

Haha, I saw someone else ask a week or so ago. It is a damn good looking poboy. Looks perfect actually, and is on my short list of places I need to go try out.

When I yak fish it's normally by myself although there is pretty much always BCKFC guys out at the bridges. They prefer to launch on the south end by "triple beach", but I like the north end better.

I have to believe they'll bring you to Lake Road to launch and then go to the mouth and fish against the shore. Ask lots of questions - those guys are pros.

When you decide to buy...go to one of the Massey's Demo Days and try out a few to see which one you like. Don't be in a rush or you will regret it.

That does sound awesome. Anything you don't like about the Jackson boat? I've been eyeing up the Cuda and Coosa for my next purchase.
