Dude, I don't think you're flaming so I'll give you a serious response (well, also because the chick in your avatar pic contributes to the aesthetics of the site).

I understand why people on either side can be nervous over a game like this but that's like 180 degrees from the way I feel. Hell, this is the kind of game you wait for all year. Through recruiting, through spring practice, through summer doldrums where you turn to the OT or the Movie Board for entertainment, through fall practice. Through the cupcakes. Then you get a brief taste from f a decent out of conference team or two. Then you finally get some SEC teams. But games like this is what it's really all about.

So, nervous -no. Happy as a kid looking forward to Christmas morning - definitely.

I would not consider them a top 20 defense! Not even a top 50 defense. I did not ask to be rude, I only ask bc although I hate Bama, I respect Bama! I hope this game has championship implications every season! I study Bama. I watch every Bama game! Y'all look great, but hey you haven't been battle tested! No defense like that LSU defense. It will be a great game. I think Lacey is no tr3 and that may hinder y'all! No predictions here I just want a Titan clash!

i really wouldnt say things like this bout the tide.i mean lsu is gonna come out with even more intensity than they did s.car.and they have a week off.ur crazy if u think were not gonna have a fight to the death for this game

Bama will bring it no doubt, but one, they're going to be playing in the most difficult venue in college football for one. For two, as fired up as Bama will be, they aren't desperate. Never fight a man who has nothing to lose. LSU has nothing to lose.

We have played bama many many times at night in Tiger stadium and I don't think the mojo work against the Tide.

I just wish someone would frickup the rama jama chant.

I felt better about it last year, but we're clearly much better than we were in 2008 and 2009. Feel about the same as I did in 2010. How did that game turn out?

Honestly, yes I am more nervous this year than last and I think some on here are kidding themselves. When you look at the bcs game, the fact that we have struggled to beat fl a&m auburn etc, our schedule has been pitiful compared to last year and we have performed far worse. Our offense is anemic at times. On paper we are not the team we were last year.
That being said I think we win the game. It's college football, at night, in Baton Rouge, with lsu as the underdog.

That's odd because I also have a confident feeling about this game. My gut feeling is usually pretty accurate when it comes to LSU games.

A chance for LSU to beat Bama ((again)) and win the SEC West ((again)). Nightgame at TS with nothing to lose and knocking off the #1 ranked team in the country. Not nervous.

The question is phrased oddly. I am less confident because I do not feel that our team is quite as good as last year, but I am less nervous because we have nothing to lose. We were on the verge of one of the greatest seasons in college football last year and we came out flat and dull in the NCG. Last year i was nervous we migh blow it. This year we are a true underdog and that never leads to nerves.

I'm not nervous at all I fully expect us to lose. Our ridiculous offense does not stand a chance against a team like Bama and with the injuries we have had we will do good to keep it respectable. I'm not sure what everyone else sees that thinks we are gonna go toe to toe with Bama and come out on top.

Not worried one bit about this game. Last year we had to win this game. It's not the same this year. We'll go in the game as the underdog and playing with house money. Most relaxed I've been in a while.

Alabama has only faced one ranked team thus far this season and the high powered rank team that they played (Michigan LOL) has faced one other rank team themselves and loss. Alabama has been impressive so far this season but their schedule has been pretty easy. Even this weekend facing Moo State, who is ranked, but has also had a fairly easy schedule, will not be a test for the Tide.

The first test for Alabama will be in Baton Rouge on a Saturday night in Death Valley and I am not sure if you realize what that means. Les Miles is 6-2 after a bye week and 3-0 against Saban after a bye week.

You should be Nervous....not sure why you are feeling so confident??? was it the win over Florida Atlantic or Western Kentucky??
