And win by 8+ points in Tiger Stadium and the LSU offense and play calling is similar to what's been on display this season, what would be your opinion about the state of and likely future of our program?

Same thing I have thought for the past year or so. These are special times, but 9-3/ 8-4 are the new norm. Miles isn't changing his philosophy and he isn't going anywhere. The rest of the league has caught up and improved while LSU has remained the same. Luck can only take you so far.

I hope I am dead wrong, but I have seen nothing since Arkansas last season to lead me to believe otherwise.

disaster, but then again, we've been going through a disaster for the past 8 years and it will only continue because the administration and the bigwigs enjoy mediocrity....we're basically Colorado in purple and gold...

Wouldn't change a damn bit. I almost expect it as a matter of fact. After that we will win out and crush someone in a bowl game.
Then next year we will roll through an undefeated season followed by a national championship.

It'll still be LSU and most of us'll still be fans.

Fire Les. Pay the Chief 2.5 million for the defense, pay Mahlzan 2.5 million to run the offense and put a cardboard cut out of Nick Saban on the sidelines (at least the rantards would be happy). We can raise all of the other asst.'s salaries by reducing the recruiting budget because 5 stars come here anyway. Then, we can hire IMG to do the post game interviews and speaking engagements. Simple.

I think if LSU beats Alabama by 8 Coach Miles still needs to evaluate this offensive staff and then fire them and hire a new group.

The LSU staff lacks the ability to develop a QB for some reason adn that is coaching. All of these QB's for the last few years are not bad atheletes, this is a coaching problem.

You don't have to be Joe Montana to be a successful QB in college football, you have to have a good coaching staff that knows how to develop your talent and then put you in the position to win and LSU does not have this in my opinion.

If LSU beats Alabama it will end up being because of something the defense or special teams did.

Just my opinion.

I'd feel the same as I do today. We are an elite program that happens to be in the same divisions as the best program (right now) in the country.

We will continue to have 10-2 to 12-0 seasons but will frequently have our ultimate hopes crushed by Alabama.

I see LSU and Bama splitting the series for the foreseeable future 50/50 with neither team winning more than 2 in a row.

This year, Bama is just simply BETTER due to our continued lack of what would even be considered adequate QB play.

The more interesting question is, what happens to all you hopeless ninny negatigers and Miles haters when LSU beats Bama Saturday night....IN ANY FASHION!

It doesn't matter how a win happens...especially if its against Bama! If LSU wins and CLM goes to 4-3 against Saban, 8-1 on the season, and in the catbird seat for another NCG appearance...you dumb sons a bitches aren't even going to be able to POST on TD. Imagine having no comeback for all of us who will bombard you with CLM's record and you will have to just take it in silence!

Oh the HELL you boys will have created for yourselves. I can't wait!
