GAmecast
SC 8 FL 37
how does this game affect LSU's win vs SC and loss to FL. Florida looks pretty good. Also, what will FL's ranking be?
Sorry if wrong board.

I'd rather play UF in the SECCG with a chip on our shoulder than USCe and vice versa.

I disagree, but will this, coupled with a close/bad win against aTm, lower our ranking even further? I was pretty excited about beating SC, now, not so much.

It means that the win by LSU last week becomes a loss and the loss to Florida is actually 70-6 instead.
It means nothing for LSU. LSU just has to keep winning.

i guess it makes the FL less "bad" and the the SC win more neutral instead of good. maybe it evens out. I don't think it helps us for the rankings tomorrow. obviously that doesn't mean anything in the long run, as long as we keep winning.
i was just curious if y'all thought it would be significant in our short term ranking.

Dude, you're seriously over-thinking this...voters don't get all touchy-feely.
You beat the loser of today's game and you lost to the winner. Status quo. Pecking order remains Bama and Florida and then LSU in the SEC...It means nothing else.

but we barley squeaked by SC and FL is railing them. you're probably right about the voters not really caring though, i don't pay a lot of attention to the rankings.

It will be Florida. Georgia doesn't stand a chance.
