A buddy of mine is a huge A&M fan and he was blabbering this week about how manziel's old days of playing RB make him much tougher than most QB's. He said Johnny doesn't believe in sliding or avoiding contact very often. How long do you think he makes it against our D if he keeps this philosophy?

He's a tough kid and fast, so he mostly gets glancing blows. If he takes a few full force shots this Saturday, it could be bad.

I really don't see an issue with a running QB playing against a big, strong and fast defense.

Manzeil has a tendency to run out of the pocket to one side and then run in a circle towards the other direction. Wouldn't surprise me to see any of our DEs pop him as he turns around if he tries to pull that against LSU.

That said, I think Texas A&M knows they'll do much better with quick passes, misdirection, etc. than they will trying to pass downfield, run up the middle, or run out of the pocket. I expect them to go with quick plays most of the game with a handful of slow developing plays when LSU sneaks up a safety.

The chances to get a shot on him will be limited unless A&M is playing from behind early.
