You know it's neck and neck between you and Choctaw to see who can more ferociously deny reality on Leslie's coaching ability.

I'm just wondering if this LSU Nation would recognize game time adjustments. Would you notice blocking changes? What about minor alignment changes? Route adjustments? Split adjustments? Do you understand a word of what I just typed? I'm thinking that you and the rest of this LSU Nation have at best a very shallow understanding of football and have no clue as to the adjustments that happen every game. The fact that you declare that there have been none proves my point. So please boo if you feel like it. Your post has already told me all I need to know about you.

Great post Gray! This is the main problem for both the OP and 95% of the Miles haters/negatigers on here. The other 5% actually have some football acumen but choose to be negative anyway. I can handle this type of "fan" a lot better than ones like the OP who clearly would have trouble understanding powderpuff football strategy.

Dont waste your time being logical to these fricking toolbags. They never liked miles and this is their chance. Any sane person knows we don't have the personnel to air the ball out given all the injuries.

It's gameday and has been a week since Florida. And these tards are still bitching like they're high school girls.

Get the frick over it and let's show the team some love. They don't deserve for the fanbase to turn on them after the great run they've given us over the years

You seriously must be retarded. I feel sorry for your future wife. The guy has valid points, of which people like you discourage discussion about. Being content about mediocrity and berating those that do show an interest in improvement shows that you......are a ratard.

So you think Miles' game plan against Alabama in the championship was better than mine , passing deep a few times?

Let me guess................ that is the type of game planning that has made you a MADDEN legend?

linemen are far too slow to block in the backfield...that's why you never see one back there

Its not that the OP doesn't have valid points...which he doesn't. It's that he starts out where all the Miles haters start...by intimating that Miles (and by rote his staff) is too dumb/clueless/imcompetent etc....to not understand what people like the OP belive are simple offensive concepts. Miles has made LSU an ELITE program in CFB. MILES gets the credit for this! You can't do it with mirrors. To win as many games as Miles has won you have to be a GREAT football coach. Just because you can't figure out how he does it, doesn't change the fact that he is great.

The OP and others like him don't understand the game and coaching enough to comprehend what makes Miles special. Where he should start is, "I don't get how Miles wins so much, perhaps I should learn more football so I can fully understand his greatness.

Now if you need it explained to you, I will do it, but its a long post, and it won't fit your current understanding of what makes a winning coach, and how a great coach builds a winning program and team!

How many college game plans have you produced?
How many SEC games have you been the head coach in?
How many have you won?

Sitting in your Barcolounger swilling Lite beer and munching Cheetoes while playing a video game does not a great offensive mind make. Show me some skins on the wall and maybe I'll take you serious.

Yes. Yes I do. I think his plan in any game he's lost is a hundred times better than any thing you could conjure up. Absolutely.

Dude we had more passing plays than running plays last week. You might want to actually watch the games before criticizing?

If Miles doesn't allow the pass...to a reasonable degree this game, one that shows he truly, to use his own words, "has a want" for success, I just might boo and boo loudly.

We have passed more and the offense looks rough. You can't sling it around if you don't have the OL protection. Lonergan, WIlliford, Hurst, Faulk injuries/other issues aren't a coaching scheme issue. When you can't pass pro with your OL, you have to add TEs and RBs to block which means less targets to throw to. It all starts on the OL. If they can protect, then Mett and the "scheme" can get chunks of yards(as long as we execute and don't drop the ball or fumble.)

Miles "stubborn":
well, Mett has shown the tendency to throw picks in the redzone, trying to force things. Mett has shown a lack of awareness re the blitz, and has fumbled a few times because he isn't securing the ball while scrambling. He's got a decent completion percentage, but still has missed badly on some wide-open guys.
Yes, Miles is stubborn. There are at least a couple of other QBs resting on the bench, who if given a chance to show their stuff, might provide the missing piece of this year's LSU offensive puzzle. But *CLM stubbornly left JJ in on 1/9 for a game he clearly was losing. And he stubbornly did not/ does not put in either Rivers or Bolden for any gametime reps. Especially when Mett is having a hard time moving the team.

You prefer the status quo? You've got to be kidding... oh wait, you aren't kidding. You're ok with what we're doing.

If by "status quo" you mean I believe Mett is the best qb on our roster and that to change qbs would be ludicrous....then yes. Yes I prefer the status quo. Big fan.
