what are some other doppelbocks or similar beers that are good?

I've been trying to get my hands on a Paulaner Salvator but I dont live near any good beer joints and haven't gotten around to trying it yet.

And before I had to give up gluten it was Lagunita's Censored

Here's a fun fact. Abita Andygator is a dopplebock. Anything ending in -ator is a dobblebock. (Celebrator, Salvator, Andygator).

Not sure where you live but Chimes East has Paulaner Salvator in a bottle. Used to have it on draft until they switched it out.

calling it a west coast ipa would do an injustice to the beer. iid call it more of a hopbomb. doesnt seem like your style.
